What's the difference between dry ridge and traditional mortar ridge?

Traditional ridge tiles are bedded in wet mortar, which cracks over time. A dry ridge system clips and seals the tiles mechanically instead, so there is no mortar to crack or fall away.

Can you convert just a section of ridge, or does it have to be the whole roof?

We can convert a single affected section, though if the rest of the ridge is the same age it's often more cost-effective to do it all at once while access is arranged.

How do I know if my ridge or verge needs attention?
